Celebrating the new faces in our community

Here at the International Portfolio,  we're thrilled to welcome the addition of several new staff members to our community.

Jo Argent, Web Manager

Jo previously worked within Web Services and brings a wealth of experience in communication and web publishing. She will be managing the International web presence and will shortly begin meeting with managers, web editors and content creators from the portfolio.

John Crowder, Assistant Driector Pathways & Operations

John has twenty year of experience in international education, fifteen of those in Australa. He has held a number of positions, including senior management roles across a number of administratives areas including International Student Support, International Admissions, Faculty Management, Student Administration and International Compliance

Joel Evans, Manager, International Partnerships

Joel has worked in international education since 2006 for Monash College, La Trobe University, Kangan Institute and Deakin University. Prior to that, he spent some time living and working in Japan as part of the Japanese Government's Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) program. Joel is commencing the role of Manager, International Partnerships as part of the International Partnerships and Development Unit. Joel is an RMIT alumnus having studies an Advanced Diploma of Business - Advertising after moving to Melbourne from East Gippsland in 1997.

Mark Buttgieg, International Customer Acquisition Coordinator

Mark is pleased to be returning to RMIT after a seven year absence. After working in RMIT's Publishing and Design Office, he joined the Web and Communication team at Victoria University (VU) International developing communication materials for digital campaigns, web re-development projects and printed brochures. At VU, Mark was given the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects including the first html5 ased e-brochure system used at any Australian university. A family person, Mark enjoys fishing in his spare time. Mark sits in Building 22 on Level 4. Connect with Mark on linkedin.
